Tactical Emergency Casualty Care:
Advanced trauma medical training with a tactical approach.
TECC focuses on and provides guidelines for managing trauma in the civilian tactical or hazardous environment. This two-day course takes an all-hazard approach to providing care outside the normal operating conditions of most EMS agencies, such as responding to a mass casualty or active shooter event.
TECC is oriented to the civilian tactical medical provider, and is fully aligned with the recommendations of the Hartford Consensus (I, II, III, and IV), the C-TECC standards, and the principles of Tactical Combat Casualty Care.
Upon successful completion of TECC, students will receive a 4-year certification from NAEMT as a TECC Provider.
